PERFORMANCES
On 27th November 2020 Jabiz gave a speech based on a theme ‘Fearless’ for TEDxTehran-Women as a successful female entrepreneur.
You will hear through her story how without considering the limiting thoughts of her society and unfavorable conditions, she was able to turn her life process into what she had always dreamed of and wanted. She tells her story in which how it was aligned with ‘7 Cities of Love’ based on Attar’s poem “The Council of the Birds”.

Jabiz was contacted by TEDx-Tehran in order to perform for the TEDxTehran-Countdown 2020 online event on 23rd October which concerns the climate change.

The intercultural project of Jabiz was one of the winners of the ‘Online Cultural Challenge’ of the Netherlands embassy in Tehran under the ‘Female entrepreneurship’ topic and it won the prize.
The project has 3 parts:
-Dutch musical culture through Dutch songs, Composed and arranged by a female Dutch composer Monique Krüs and sang by a Dutch baritone singer Michael Wilmering.
-Persian folk songs arranged by a Dutch composer Hugo Bauma (from the point of view of a Dutch composer). The Netherlands embassy Collaborated with Gaudeamus festival, they commissioned the arrangements of the Persian folk songs.
-A composition based on mixing 2 genres (Persian traditional music on western composition); The ‘Rumi Cycle’
‘Denkend aan Holland’
‘Denkend aan Holland (Memory of Holland)’ Is a poem written by Dutch poet Hendrik Marsman (1899–1940). The poem describes the Dutch landscape and the Dutch struggle against the water. It is one of the best-known poems in the Dutch language.

After graduation Jabiz started a project called ‘Rumi Cycle’ which has been commissioned by Gaudeamus festival in Utrecht. Composed by Amin Ebrahimi , Sang by baritone singer Arash Roozbehi, pianist Jabiz Hafizi and Narrated by Sipko A. den Boer .
The cycle is a set of 7 songs based on ‘7 Vallesy of Love‘ Attar`s poem: The Council of Birds
(1.Quest 2.Love 3.Knowledge 4.Independancy and contentment 5.Unity 6.Wonderment 7.True poverty and absolute nothingness)
And poems are a collection of Rumi`s Poetry (related to each valley) from his book ‘Masnavi’

On 17 January 2020, Jabiz accompanied Soprano Veronika Akhmetchina with several arias from ‘The Marriage of Figaro’ and ‘Don Giovanni’ Operas by Mozart, for the ‘Kunst in de Kamer’ concert series in Bilthoven.
On 24 October 2019, Jabiz was invited as a guest speaker to give a lecture about her successful master research to master students of Maastricht conservatory.
A documentary by the Iranian-Dutch filmmaker Arash Kamali Sarvestani based on Behrouz Boochani (a Kurdish-Iranian journalist who became a best-selling author with No Friend but the Mountains).
The World premiere of the documentary for ‘The Movies that Matter’ Festival 2020 in The Hague was cancelled due to measures against the corona virus.
On 31 March 2016 Jabiz performed as a guest pianist for ‘20 years of Musik Zentral’ at Pavillon/ Kurhaus in Bad Aussee/ Austria.
On 16 August 2014 Jabiz performed as soloist with Donau Philharmonie Wien Orchestra with the conductor prof. Alexei Kornienko for the ‘Musik Zentra’l Festival at Pavilion Kurhaus in Bad Aussee/ Austria.
